Register to Vote Deadline - Tuesday, October 19, 2004
You must register to vote. This year's deadline for registration to vote is October 19, 2004. Mailed applications must be postmarked Oct. 19, 2004. Hand-delivered applications must be received by the Registrars Office by Oct. 19, 2004.
Voter Registration Qualifications
- You must be a United States Citizen
- You must be a resident of a Connecticut Town
- You must be 18 when you vote.
- You must have completed confinement and parole if you were previously convicted of a felony and have had your voting rights restored by Registrar.

Absentee Ballots
Absentee Ballots must be received by your Registrars of Voters no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Any registered voter my vote absentee if unable to vote in person due to one of the following conditions:
- Illness or Physical Disability
- Absent from town during election hours
- Religious Beliefs forbidding secular activity on election day
- Service in the Military
- Service as an election official in a town other than their own
